About Flux Lab

Mission

Our mission as a gallery is to be a bastion that supports and accommodates artistic expression, showing in a solid and forceful manner the concerns of humanity in the 21st century.

Critical Thinking

Flux/Lab is a curatorial initiative, a space for critical thinking that unifies an aesthetic proposal with social commitment, where we promote artists who use traditional and non-traditional mediums and enrich formal proposals with innovative content. Co-founded by Delmari Romero Keith and Manuel Aaron Jimenez Barragán in 2014, Flux/Lab was born from the desire to reflect and recognize oneself in the work of its artists, who, as prophets of their time, shed light and shadow on our complex contemporary culture.

Discovery

Flux/Lab is a cell of artists, critics, curators, and collectors that supports traveling exhibitions through venues such as international fairs, museums, and private galleries. We coordinate artist residencies and, with the works created in situ, we hold exhibitions with the intention of generating groups of new collectors—young executives interested in creating their own collection with expert advice. As gallerists and high-consciousness entrepreneurs, we are driven by the need to shape our own universe, in a progressive discovery of the beauty and intrinsic vitality of each piece, finding within each work its independence and its own value.
