Claire Becker

French artist and sculptor based in Mexico, Claire Becker has made her mark in the art world through her participation in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Germany, Italy, New York, Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Cuba. Her talent has been recognized with the silver medal in sculpture awarded by the prestigious Société Arts-Sciences-Lettres in France.

Thanks to a scholarship from the Fantasy Fountain Fund, Claire perfected her artistic training at The Art Students League of New York. Furthermore, with the support of the Cropsey Foundation Apprenticeship for Sculpture, she worked at Greg Wyatt’s sculpture studio in the United States, where she discovered and began to master the technique of bronze sculpture, a material that has been key to her artistic practice.

Currently, her work reflects a fusion of cultures, exploring new forms and narratives from her home in Mexico.
